  • terase lõõmutamine alla A1 temperatuuri koos pika seisutusajaga, tagamaks teralise karbiidi tekke (vt sadestisekasv, sferoidisatsioon)
    Good to know
    • Sagedamini kasutatakse järgmisi sferoidiseerimise viise: 1) pikemaajaline seisutamine temperatuuril veidi alla A1; 2) alternatiivselt kuumutamine temperatuurivahemikus veidi ülevalpool ja veidi allpool A1; 3) kuumutamine temperatuurile üle A1 või A3, seejärel väga aeglase jahutamisega; 4) jahutamine sobiva kiirusega minimaalselt temperatuurilt, mille juures kõik karbiidid on lahustunud.
  • annealing just below the A1 temperature of steels with long soaking time to bring the carbides in the form of spheroids (see: precipitation growth, spheroidization)
    Good to know
    • Spheroidizing methods frequently used are: 1) prolonged holding at a temperature just below A1; 2) heating and cooling alternatively between temperatures that are just above and just below A1; 3) heating to termperature above A1 or A3 and cooling then very slowly; 4) cooling at a suitable rate from minimum temperature at which all carbide is dissolved.
  • используемый в случае заэвтектоидных сталей неполный отжиг для получения в структуре зернистого цементита
    Good to know
