(1) Veega seotud valdkondades tegutsemine käesoleva seaduse tähenduses on: 1) ühisveevärgi ja -kanalisatsiooni pakkumine või käitamine eesmärgiga pakkuda avalikkusele joogivee tootmise, transpordi või jaotamisega seotud teenust; 2) joogivee tarnimine käesoleva lõike punktis 1 nimetatud ühisveevärki; 3) vesiehitusprojektide elluviimine, maaniisutus- või -kuivendustööd, kui nimetatud projektide elluviimise, niisutus- või kuivendustööde käigus saadava vee kogumahust rohkem kui 20 protsenti kasutatakse joogivee tarneks, või 4) reovee ärajuhtimine, puhastus ja töötlemine., (1) For the purposes of this Act, ‘operating in the fields related to water’ means: 1) the provision or operation of a public water supply and sewerage system intended to provide a service to the public in connection with the production, transport or distribution of drinking water; 2) the supply of drinking water to a public water supply system mentioned in clause 1 of this section; 3) implementation of hydraulic engineering projects, irrigation or land drainage, provided that the volume of water to be used for the supply of drinking water represents more than 20 per cent of the total volume of water made available by such projects or irrigation or drainage installations, or 4) the disposal and treatment of sewage., defineeritakse selle seaduse ulatuses, defined within the scope of this Act
