42) mopeed on kahe-, kolme- või neljarattaline mootorsõiduk, mille tühimass ei ületa 425 kilogrammi ja mille valmistajakiirus ei ületa 45 kilomeetrit tunnis ning mille sisepõlemismootori kasulik võimsus või elektrimootori suurim püsi-nimivõimsus ei ületa kahe- ja kolmerattalisel mopeedil nelja kilovatti ning neljarattalisel mopeedil kuut kilovatti. Kaherattalise mopeedi sisepõlemismootori töömaht ei ületa 50 kuupsentimeetrit ning kolme- ja neljarattalise mopeedi sädesüütega sisepõlemismootori töömaht ei ületa 50 kuupsentimeetrit;

The capacity of the internal combustion engine of a two-wheel moped does not exceed 50 cubic centimetres and the capacity of the spark ignition internal combustion engine of a three-wheel or four-wheel moped does not exceed 59 cubic centimetres;
