(1) Kriisiroll määratakse abipolitseinikule (edaspidi kriisirolliga abipolitseinik), kes annab nõusoleku abistada politseid hädaolukorra ohu, hädaolukorra, eriolukorra, erakorralise seisukorra, kõrgendatud kaitsevalmiduse või sõjaseisukorra ajal (edaspidi kriisi lahendamine) ning kellel on ülesande täitmiseks vajalikud teadmised ja oskused. (2) Kriisirolliga abipolitseinik on abipolitseinik, kelle pädevuses on kriisi lahendamise ajal käesoleva seaduse § 3 lõike 1 kohaselt politsei abistamine.
