  • (6) Korrespondentsuhe käesoleva seaduse tähenduses on krediidiasutuste vahelisest lepingust tulenev õigussuhe, mille puhul üks krediidiasutus kasutab teises krediidiasutuses (edaspidi korrespondentpank) avatud kontot (edaspidi korrespondentkonto), mida ta lisaks teistele korrespondentpanga pakutavatele teenustele kasutab ka enda nimel oma klientide teenindamiseks.

  • (6) A correspondent relationship for the purposes of this Act is a legal relationship arising from a contract entered into by credit institutions on the basis of which one credit institution uses an account (hereinafter referred to as correspondent account) at another credit institution (hereinafter referred to as correspondent bank), which, in addition to the services offered by the correspondent bank, it uses also for providing services to its customers in its name.

  • Korrespondentsuhe käesoleva seaduse tähenduses on: 1) püsivalt ja kestvalt finantsteenuste osutamine ühe krediidiasutuse (korrespondentasutus) poolt teisele krediidiasutusele (respondentasutus), sealhulgas arvelduskonto, maksekonto või muu kontoteenuse ning sellega seonduvate rahahalduse, rahvusvahelise rahaülekande, tšekkide lunastamise, laiendatud kasutusõigusega konto teenuse ja valuutavahetusteenuse osutamine; 2) krediidiasutuste ja finantseerimisasutuste omavahelised suhted, sealhulgas sellised suhted, mille puhul korrespondentasutus osutab respondentasutusele sarnaseid teenuseid tema klientide teenindamiseks, ning sellised suhted, mis on loodud väärtpaberitehingute või rahaülekannete tegemiseks.

  • For the purposes of this Act, ‘correspondent relationship’ means: 1) the consistent and long-term provision of banking services by a credit institution (correspondent institution) to another credit institution (respondent institution), including providing a current account, liability account or other account service or other related services such as cash management, international funds transfers, cheque clearing, payable-through accounts and foreign exchange services; 2) the relationships between and among credit institutions and financial institutions, including where similar services are provided by a correspondent institution to a respondent institution for the purpose of servicing its customers, and including relationships established for securities transactions or funds transfers.
