(1) Kindlustuskohustus käesoleva seaduse tähenduses on kohustus sõlmida kohustusliku liikluskindlustuse leping (edaspidi leping) kolmandale isikule sõidukiga kahju tekitamisest tuleneva vastutuse kindlustamiseks käesolevas seaduses sätestatud korras ja ulatuses.
