(1) Jäätmete kogumine on jäätmete kokkukorjamine, sealhulgas jäätmete eelsortimine ja eelladustamine ning mehaaniline töötlemine ilma jäätmete koostist ja olemust muutmata, eesmärgiga vedada need edasiseks käitlemiseks jäätmekäitluskohta.
