(1) Jäätmepõletustehas on jäätmekäitluskoht, mille põhielement on paikne või teisaldatav tehniline kompleks või seade, mis on ette nähtud tahkete või vedelate jäätmete termiliseks töötlemiseks, olenemata sellest, kas põlemisel tekkiv soojus kasutatakse ära või mitte.
