§ 95. Inimekvivalent Inimekvivalent on ühe inimese põhjustatud keskmise ööpäevase tingliku reostuskoormuse ühik. Biokeemilise hapnikutarbe (BHT7) kaudu väljendatud inimekvivalendi väärtus on 60 grammi hapnikku ööpäevas.

§ 95. Population equivalent Population equivalent means the unit of average potential water pollution load caused by one person per day. The value of the population equivalent expressed through the biological oxygen demand (BOD7) is 60 grams of oxygen per day.
