2) diplomaatiline ametikoht on Välisministeeriumi koosseisuline või koosseisuväline ametikoht, mille põhiülesannete hulka kuuluvad välissuhtlemine, Eesti esindamine ja Välisministeeriumi ülesannete täitmist tagava tugiüksuse juhtimine;
defineeritakse selle seaduse ulatuses

2) “diplomatic post” means a staff or non-staff post in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs with the main functions including foreign relations, the representing of Estonia and management of a support unit ensuring the performance of the functions of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs;
defined within the scope of this Act
