(1) Seemne ja paljundusmaterjali sertifitseerimine on nende põlvnemise, liigi- ja sordiehtsuse, liigi- ja sordipuhtuse ja kvaliteedi ning taimetervisenõuetele vastavuse kontrollimine rahvusvaheliselt kehtestatud nõuete kohaselt ning seemne ja paljundusmaterjali pakendite sulgemine ja märgistamine Põllumajandus- ja Toiduameti järelevalve all.
