(1) Finantsinspektsioon (edaspidi Inspektsioon) on autonoomse pädevusega ja oma eelarvega Eesti Panga juures asuv asutus, mille juhtimisorganid tegutsevad ja esitavad aruandeid käesolevas seaduses sätestatud korras.
